You can drop an image as svg & work it in Illustrator, or import Illustrator files to it. The import/export options are pretty good. Of course, then you/I wouldn’t be relying on a $25 application either. I won’t say that its handy enough (to me) to use on a daily basis, if one wants to be efficient & make a living doing what it does. Its pretty good for its price, if it does enough of what you need.įor occasional use, its quite good as a helper application. Graphic has all of the tools you need to create everything from detailed technical illustrations to beautiful works of art. If only the other computer reference books I have purchased - and unfortunately will have to continue to purchasing - were written in the style of 'GraphicConverter 4.0'.Graphic is a powerful feature-packed vector drawing and illustration application for macOS. This has been written by somebody who just wished to concentrate on the necessary technical details and did not wish to portray himself necessarily as a man of letters. The applications are explained without any gimmicks. The cross references are clear and concise. The sentences are not too long or too short, but balanced and understandable. The sentences always have a subject and predicate. In contrast to other writers the author is a master of the German language. There are no pictograms which annoy the user more than aiding him and no "amusing" aside comments which only take time to read. The manual 'GraphicConverter 4.0' from Thorsten Lemke and Hagen Henke seems to be free of hyperbole. However, the average user is neither a born programmer, nor a real beginner. The authors of these thick monstrosities either consider their readers to be idiots or presuppose above-average background knowledge. "I own a number of computer reference books which are heavy, expensive and written in a difficult style.
